5005-1 Electronic Filing and Transmittal of Documents

(a)   All documents in any case or proceeding shall be filed electronically.

(1)      Documents filed at the court shall be filed in the Clerk's office during business hours posted on the Clerk's website, www.lamb.uscourts.gov.

(2)      Documents may be filed at any time from a location other than the Clerk's office.

(3)      The Clerk shall not accept or file documents submitted by electronic mail or fax transmission without prior leave of court.

(b)   If the CM/ECF System is not in operation when a document must be filed to preserve a right or claim, the person desiring to file shall arrange with the Clerk, during normal business hours, for non-electronic filing.

(c)   An attorney desiring to electronically file documents from a location other than the Clerk's office shall obtain a password from the Clerk using the procedures for applying for a password found in the Administrative Procedures Manual. 

(d)   An attorney seeking admission to appear pro hac vice shall obtain a temporary Electronic Filing Password from the Clerk using the procedures for applying for a temporary password found in the Administrative Procedures Manual. 

(e)   A person desiring to electronically file applications to withdraw unclaimed funds from a location other than the Clerk's office shall obtain a limited use password from the Clerk using the procedures found in the Administrative Procedures Manual. 

(f)   A creditor desiring to electronically file documents not requiring the services of an attorney shall obtain a limited use password from the Clerk using the procedures found in the Administrative Procedures Manual.
