The CM/ECF system will be upgraded to Version 3.3.3 tomorrow evening, January 21, starting at 10:00 p.m. After completion of the installation, electronic filers will see a new statement on the login screen that reads:
IMPORTANT NOTICE OF REDACTION RESPONSIBILITY: All filers must redact: Social Security or taxpayer-identification numbers; dates of birth; names of minor children; and financial account numbers, in compliance with Fed. R. Bankr. P. 9037. This requirement applies to all documents, including attachments.
The electronic filer must check the box stating the notice has been read and understands that compliance with the rule is required. The system will not let you proceed until the box has been checked. The second modification you will see is the question "Have you redacted?" which will appear on pdf upload screens during filing. It is simply a reminder to make sure the pdf that is being attached has all private information redacted.
If you have any questions, please contact Chad Smith or Elizabeth Hager in the Clerk's Office. Thank you.
