5005-1 Electronic Filing and Transmittal of Documents

(a)   All documents in any case or proceeding shall be filed electronically.

(1)      Documents filed at the court shall be filed in the Clerk's office during business hours posted on the Clerk's website, www.lamb.uscourts.gov.

(2)      Documents may be filed at any time from a location other than the Clerk's office.

(b)   If the CM/ECF System is not in operation when a document must be filed to preserve a right or claim, the person desiring to file shall arrange with the Clerk, during normal business hours, for non-electronic filing.

(c)   An attorney desiring to electronically file documents from a location other than the Clerk's office shall obtain a password from the Clerk using Local Form 7. (d)   An attorney seeking admission to appear pro hac vice shall obtain a temporary Electronic Filing Password from the Clerk using Local Form 8. Instructions for applying for a temporary password are found in the Administrative Procedures Manual. (see Standing Order 2013-1 for amendment to this rule link)

(e)   A person desiring to electronically file applications to withdraw unclaimed funds from a location other than the Clerk's office shall obtain a limited use password from the Clerk using Local Form 8. Instructions for applying for a limited use password are found in the Administrative Procedures Manual. (see Standing Order 2013-1 for amendment to this rule link)

(f)    A creditor desiring to electronically file documents not requiring the services of an attorney shall obtain a limited use password from the Clerk using Local Form 8. (see Standing Order 2013-1 for amendment to this rule link)
